Dr. Vladimir D. Korba, M.D., age 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 16, 2022. He is survived by his wife Lynn, his children Mark, and Debbie, son-in-law Michael, and grandchildren Christopher, Alyssa and Ryan. He is survived by two sisters, Rose Kennedy and Gloria Geiger, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vladimir grew up in Pleasant Mount, PA, and was a proud alum of Penn State University and Hahnemann Medical School. Vladimir started his career in a thriving OB/GYN practice in Cleveland, OH. He then had the opportunity to relocate to King of Prussia, PA to pursue a path as a medical researcher for Wyeth Laboratories over the next 25 years. He often treated his family to stories about his professional colleagues and friends.

He was passionate about spending time and vacationing with his family. In addition to being an avid fisherman and sports fan, he also was an aficionado of fine dining and cigars. Vladimir had a wonderful life and will be sorely missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park. A viewing for Dr. Korba will be held Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
