Walter C Milke, age 85, beloved husband of Jayne (Knox) Milke of Boothwyn with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Born on May 2, 1938, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter and Cora (Handwerker) Milke.

Walter was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the US Air Force, Air Police K-9 Corp alongside his partner "Fero." Their time was spent in France, Italy, and Germany.

As a young father, he spent his time with the Parkwood Youth Organization (PYO) as coach and served one term as PYO president.

Walter enjoyed fishing, golf, and had many happy times doing both.

In addition to Jayne, Walter is survived by his daughters; Joanne Hirokawa and her husband Kevin, Donna McConaghy and her husband Bob, and his son; Walter Franklin Milke and his wife Heather. Grandchildren; Quinn, Matthew, Collin, Ava, and Natalie.

He was preceded in death by his sister; Dolores Greenawalt, and his brother; Robert Milke.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Heritage Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA at 11:00 AM. Interment with military honors will follow at George Washington Memorial Park.

A viewing will be held from 10 AM Thursday morning at the Heritage Chapel.
