Wayne Earl Cassel passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA surrounded by family.  He was 75.  Born in Norristown, PA on April 19, 1944, a child of the late Henry Earl Cassel and Marjorie (Brown) Cassel.

He was a proud member of the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966.

A resident of Norristown, he spent his working life as an IBEW Local 98 (380) electrician.  When not working he enjoyed working in the yard, camping and going to the movies.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene (Bean) Cassel as well as children Troy (Maggie) and Jason (Pam), grandchildren Nicholas, Molly and Trent.  Also surviving are a brother Ronald and a sister Beverly Yeanish.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Gerald.

Family and friends are invited to Wayne's funeral service on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462 at 11:00 AM.  His family will receive visitors and guests from 10-10:50 AM at the Heritage Chapel.  Burial will be private at the request of the family.
