IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wayne David
Mack
May 20, 1966 – March 10, 2021
Wayne David Mack of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 10, 2021 with his family by his side. He was 54 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 20,1966, he is the son of James B. and Sarah (Scarborough) Mack.
Wayne attended the H.S. of Creative Performing Arts, where he received his H.S. Diploma, Penn State University, CCP, and Tri-City Barber school where he received his barbering certificate of Registration by the Commonwealth of PA. Before his illness, Wayne was an accomplished barber, known for his fade haircuts which landed him the nick name "Fade". Wayne dressed impeccably and always smelled good. Dymin, his niece, referred to him as "Uncle Smell Good".
When he was not working, Wayne enjoyed taking long walks with his daughter, watching movies, playing video games, shopping, and being with family and friends.
A hobby he particularly loved was drawing. Wayne was an amazing artist. There wasn't anything that he could not draw or paint. He had a true God-given talent. One of Wayne's favorite articles of clothing were baseball caps. He had a massive hat collection.
Wayne loved the Lord, he was smart, extremely funny, and had a smile that lit up any room. He was thoughtful, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond for anyone, especially those he loved.
Though his illness slowly stole his ability to live life as he once knew, his heart always beat strongly for God, his loving wife of twenty-two years, and his beautiful daughter and family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Angela Parker-Mack; daughter Jayla Mack; Brother Terrence Mack; Sister Crystal Mack (preceded him in death); Aunts Audrey Green (Leon), Charlotte Gallman (James); Uncles- George Mack, Sr. (Sandra), George Scarborough, Jr. (Betty); Niece- Dominique Mack; Great niece- Ryleigh McCall; Sisters-in Law- Carlette Brent (William), Joyce Butts (Robert), Valorie Curry (Tony), Audrey Easter (David preceded him in death), Monnice Pedraza (Valentino), V.
