William R. Thurber passed away peacefully in Reading, PA on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was 78 years old.

Born in Waterloo, IA on July 24, 1942, he was a child of late Russel D Thurber and Eileen V. Amyot.

A resident of Kutztown, PA, he spent his working life as an electrician for the utility industry. When not working he enjoyed raising horses and camping.

William was also an Exalted Ruler of the Mountain Home, ID Elks Lodge 2276, serving from 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.

William is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann Marie (Mauro) Thurber, children Rick Thurber, Randy Thurber, Debbie Rogers, Michelle Boyer, grandchildren Miranda Thurber, James Thurber, Journey Thurber, Charlize Colston, Amanda Bohn, great grandchildren Clayton Sorrell, Bristol Sorrell, Ashlyn Scannell. Also surviving is his niece, Karen Sumpter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Patricia Huber and Arthur Williams IV.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no services at this time.
