Obituary of Willie Barksdale, Jr.
Wille E Barksdale Jr., age 71 on September 3, 2015.
Devoted husband of a half a century to Patricia Barksdale. Beloved father of Nanette Meeks Morgan and Sonya T. Barksdale. Loving grandfather of 5, and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters, Arnetta West, Collette Olegeby (Geoffrey), Renee Jones (Dwight) and his brother Michael Barksdale.
Willie worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a State Correctional Officer for over 24 years. He was also an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, September, 10, 2015 at 9:00 -10:30am at the Mount Airy Church of God in Christ, 6401 Ogontz Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19126. Followed by his celebration of life service at 11:00am.

The family would like to thank Montgomery Einstein Home Health and Hospice for the compassionate and wonderful staff.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made in Willie''s memory to American Cancer Society for Cancer Research.
