Obituary of Wilson Bodycot

Wilson Bodycot, 89 of Mount Airy, Philadelphia passed away at home on Wednesday January 26, 2011. Wilson, known as Bill to his family and friends was born in Philadelphia PA on April 2, 1921 to the late Percy and Ivy Bodycot.

As a young man, Bill proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was trained an aircraft mechanic, where he gained a lifelong love of airplanes. He was employed as a buyer agent for the Yarway Company until his retirement in the early 1970's.

Bill was a devoted husband to his loving wife Louise until her death in 2005.

Left to cherish his memory are relatives Robert Bodycot (Claire) of Newark DE, William Bodycot (Ginna) of Newark DE and Jim Richardson of Phoenix AZ.

Bill will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his dear friend Kathleen Statue.
